They we're close-too close-closer than they'd been in years. The closeness felt wrong, but she couldn't tear herself away. She could smell him; his cool scent was simultaneously familiar and foreign to her. She looked into his eyes; though he seemed a stranger, they somehow still felt like home. It was only a second, a practically imperceptible exchange, yet it felt eternal. A moment of contemplation, of clarity, as if everything they had fought to suppress-the emotions they had decided were better to subdue-resurfaced right then and there. Locked in his gaze, unmoving, she knew he could feel it too. Then, all at once, reality set in.

Everyone remembers November 22nd 1963, right? The day the nation of America lost their favourite president, John F. Kennedy to an assassination. What if he survived his assassination, and fell in love with his acclaimed, "patsy" assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, how would that turn out? Follow Jack and Lee in this historical fanfiction novel, full of action, drama, a bit of angst and romance. *This is purely a work of fiction with historical events laced through, none of the events depicted AFTER the 22nd-25th November 1963, and beyond into 1964 and 1968 (Lyndon B. Johnson being President and Robert "Bobby" Kennedy being assassinated, 5 years after his brother) aren't real, for example, Kennedy falling for Oswald. The historic event being depicted in this novel I've tried to make historically correct, regarding, time, places, people etc. Some characters are OC's.
