Birdcage tells a story of a girl named, Venn, whose never-ending everyday life inside her mansion makes it seem as if she's been confined there for all eternity. Her master, Gulf, had always spoken of the world beyond their mansion as a place of horror and bloodshed. Venn refuses to accept these stories about the outside world and has always been curios to see it herself. Her friend, Kienna the housemaid, feels worried for Venn, for their master has always wanted Venn to stay put inside the borders of their mansion. 

So she helps Venn escape to see the world but in exchange, she asks Venn to bring her childhood friend, Vouge, along with her. But Kienna paid the price for doing so, she was punished by her master and is to serve him her entire life. After this, Venn sets off on an adventure with Vouge to see the wonders and dangers of a world outside her little cage. She meets different people and discovers different places filled with wonder and risk. 

She also begins to realize that the life outside isn't what she had always hoped for, and the doubt of making it back home alive only grows. Will Venn make it back and never set foot off her cage again or will she fight for the freedom she has longed for all her life?All Rights Reserved
