Colorful Sadness: A Zane~Chan Soulmate AU
This is a Zane~Chan story, based off of the OTP prompt where, if you draw on your skin, it will appear on your soulmate's and vice versa. It's also a high school AU, but not much of one. Now: here's real description: Zane was the outcast of his freshman class, always scowling at his peers and keeping in the shadows. When he was younger, his soulmate took a while to draw anything, which caused him to be made fun of by his peers. So, when the markings finally came, he kept them covered, not wanting to look like a fool. Kawaii~Chan was the new girl at Phoenix Drop High. She looked to have a lot of soulmates, many drawings across her body. However, it was all fake. They were all made by her. Ever since she was little, she had begun drawing on herself late, her soulmate had never responded. She tried so many things, even drawing on her face to get their attention, but they never responded, so she just drew on herself in the morning, to give up the act that she had one. What will happen when the two meet and can't stay away from each other, no matter how much Zane wants them to be apart? Read more to find out. WARNING: This story contains abuse and talk about self esteem issues. If you are sensitive to this type of thing, please do not read, as it goes into some heavy stuff after a few chapters. Ein has always been known as a jerk to others. Always pulling pranks and acting like he's always right. Not everybody has ever really liked Ein, or even tried being his friend. Every time Ein thought he made a friend, they always were FAKE and started acting mean to him. Ein never truly had a family, or someone he could talk to. So he bottled up his feelings and became the way he is. But, nobody knows this... Ein and Pierce were dating, they would pull pranks together. It was a fun hobby for them to do as a couple. Of course, sometimes Pierce would apologize after, but Ein would always run away and laugh. Eventually, Pierce got tired of this behavior, and started to dislike pranking his friends. This caused a heated argument between the two, resulting in a breakup. The two became more and more distant with their friends noticing. For some reason, everyone went to Pierce's side when it got revealed they broke up. Ein still continued pranking the others, even starting to prank Pierce. Everyone couldn't believe Ein's behavior and disliked him even more. Maybe even hating him. They thought that he never really cared for him and Pierce's relationship and just thought of him as a buddy. But that wasn't the truth. One person got a feeling that Ein's actions were the cause of something else... Aphmau decided to install a mod on the server. It was a mod that showed how much someone cares for you. Ein took a guess on how everybody's percentage would be but wanted to try it out anyways. His feelings were hurt, and he didn't know how to cope with it. Until, he met the one person who saw through his facade...
