Rin is a librarian with an unusually feisty temperament. He dreams of a quiet life amidst wooden shelves, gold-bound spines, and ageing parchment. Unfortunately for him, the Elven King is coming to the Common World with the aim of bestowing magic on the humans. In exchange for the magic that he brings, he asks for a human's hand in marriage.
What will Rin do when the King takes an interest in his scholarly views?
