There has been an explosion in science and technology in the last three decades. As it appears to be an exponential growth of materials, tools, and techniques, which has revolutionized all fields of scientific research and has resulted in the known Big Tech, perhaps there is an unrecognized impact on society. Much of this revolution has enabled globalization, and its impact is inherently but not consciously included in any analysis of globalization. If large capital has a dynamic of its own, unregulated privatized knowledge converted to monopoly economic advantage may have some new features and a life of its own too in today's globalized economy.
