We were trying for so long to find normal that we forgot what it was. Forever we searched, we survived, we sacrificed, but in the end we had us. Us was a strange, very unlikely group of people. I met him at church. He was the new kid, everyone wanted to know him and befriend him. I was shy, he was outgoing. Never in a million years would I be his friend. But an extremly unlikely fate brought us together during hard times. Fate, oblivion, whatever it was that brought us together knew it would be okay. The journey of us was almost just like a tacky, perfect teen love story. You know the whole kiss on the hood of a car during sunset or date night that ends with a kiss....
