"There might be some other way to deal with this situation, sir" said one of the officer typing the report.
"The only way is to call out for..." senior officer paused, gazing into the vast emptiness of the galaxy "it had taken place in the past, million years ago."
The doors sideways opened, a female officer rushed into the cabin.
"Evacuation of planet silico is completed, waiting for your further order, commander."
"Sir!" She inquired.
"Dispatch all 5 prisoners on the silico ground, and prepared their mind and souls, as no one ever in the history of this universe have stood againts them, and still be alive." Commander muttered.

20 years ago, the world was on the brink of extinction when the Galactic Federation saved Earth. Since then, humans pledged their loyalty to serve them. Human's connection with one of the higher beings in the universe, resulted in Earth's civilization rising to a higher level. Two decades passed and new generations rose. I, Alexa Stanfield, a 20-year-old college student, found out that the Galactic Federation saved Earth for a dark purpose. For two decades, we've been conscripted and nurtured under the guise of care, only to unveil our grim fate as pawns in an Intergalactic conflict, thrust into a war we never signed up for. The previous species that Galactic Federation sent were annihilated quickly. Therefore, they were forced to use us, as their new human army, opposing the plan's timing. My friends and I were selected as candidates with the resilience to withstand mind manipulation. We endured an intense training regimen that was more like a deadly game of survival. The Federation believed that this was the only way to prepare us for the war since they have no time to waste on conventional methods. My friends and I share an unbreakable bond and loyalty, soon to be challenged by the most harrowing trials. Armed with only our school learning and raw life experiences, we'll face murder, death, sacrifices, and betrayal. A kid, old, man, or woman, there's no exception, regardless of age or gender. Our training ground? Safira, a verdant moon planet. This is the story of our involvement in the most intense training of our lives.

ONC 2025 _______ Dr. Merilyn Bascom Quartermain was scheduled to return to the Olympus Moon Colony a month ago. Now, her father, a high ranking official with T-CUAS, The Center for Universal Astronomical Studies and Air Force Commander, Jethro Bascom is sending a military team to go and bring her in. If they can find her. When an impromptu visitation from a formerly unknown Alien species surprise lands in Olympus, a species that wasn't yet listed in the Federation, of course she left with them after hearing their plea for help. A seemingly fragile race and somehow pathetic, their biome was causing sterility and she was only supposed to collect critical information and return, until everything could be investigated and vetted. But they left the colony in an uproar. The peaceful community was now in chaos over the incident, going into lockdown until they could decontaminate the facilities and residents. Jethro couldn't really fault her. Like father, like daughter. But this time, the fairy tale rescue was his to rewrite. He was going along because this time, the moral of the story was his call. And it might not have a happy ending. _____________ Prompt 61 - Main Theme The silence in the room is deafening, as though it has a life of its own. When Mandy loses her job, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom – until her plane is swallowed by a strange storm that sends her and everyone else on board 10,000 years into the future. At first, she thinks the scary world is nothing more than a bad dream. The war-torn Earth is unrecognizable. Black fog blocks the sun, and the oceans are dry. Even worse: the planet is inhabited by half-human, half-alien creatures dying from a mysterious disease. Horrified at the thought of spending her life here, she clings to the knowledge that there’s one man who can open the star gate to send her home. As the Naki prince who controls the star gate, Akkadi gets first choice of any human female that makes her way through the star gate. Only by breeding with purebred humans from the past can his race hope to remain immune to the disease and hopefully, develop an eventual cure. With shrinking resources and a raging battle for the human planet, dutiful, commanding Akkadi is less than thrilled at the idea of trying to figure out Mandy, a woman he views as wild with neither discipline nor respect for someone in his position. He’s ready to write her off, when she offers him something too tempting to resist: her body for the chance to convince him by any means possible to send her home. Neither intends for the arrangement to be permanent or to fall for the other. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.

"Those aliens are not my concern, the Earth and her populations are. Now, Callisto of the Scout Regiment to Salutem, as a citizen of this planet and a soldier under my command-" "I stopped being a soldier a long time ago. And those aliens have done nothing to you, you didn't even know they existed until I told you about them. I joined this mission not because I was ordered to, but because I wanted to carve my name in history. But I will not mark my namesake as a murderer of the very first species we have found that is on par with human intelligence! If my legacy is to be the protector of those you refuse to acknowledge, then so be it." The room hissed and flowed with whispers and gossip between the different board members, like a waterfall being heard through thick earmuffs. The only voice to be clearly heard was Director Striker himself. "You are rooting for a lost cause, soldier. It is the manifest destiny of us humans to reach out and touch the stars. And if the only way to touch those stars is to sacrifice a few savages, then that is what we must do." Callisto felt her anger towards a man she once admired swell in her chest and wash through her veins with a burning fire. He was proposing mass genocide simply because he wanted what belonged to them. The wheel of history turns, but nothing is ever new it seemed. "Have you read a history book in your life, Director Striker? Manifest destiny is used a mere few pages before a genocide. It's not a motivation, it's an excuse." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fair warning: this is my very first original story so please be kind to my baby, she is a lifelong passion and a labor of love. •••COMPLETED••• •Please do not copy or post anywhere outside of these pages.

They thought this world could no longer surprise them, that every scourge of the earth and all its flaws had been bared to them. Until, a force collided with them and subverted every natural order. The world they thought they knew was a fantasy. Excerpt: "Luca, it's a male Vampyr in the Green Grotto!", she burst into his office to inform. Luca rolled his eyes and clutched the desk before him, where he gripped splintered under the force. "Does it still hurt that much? Ari said you'll be able to compartmentalize the pain so that it no longer gives you such a visceral response," she comforted. "Yes, Rosalia, thank you. If you'll excuse me, I have work to do," Luca gestured for her to leave as he slowly straightened his hunched spine and freed the desk. "Excuse me?". "You're excused," he said dryly. "Luca, you have a dut-," "No, I fucking don't. Do you see a fucking 'S' on my chest? A fucking cape? Some tights? Witty catchphrase? Anything?!". "Wh- I- what?". "I'm not a fucking superhero. I didn't go save Kaito because of some bullshit assignment or inheritance or whatever pretty package they wanna present this deal as! I saved my friend and that's that. Get out if you have more to say!" Luca yelled her down.
