In our town there's a lake. At one point the waters were clear to the point that they practically sparkled. On the shores of this lake kids would play, families would swim, and it was a place to relax. The lake was the best place in town. The lake's name was lake Apollo, and Apollo was soon changed to lake Kasai, meaning fire. An interesting name for a place of water, but there's a reason behind it. After 68 years of being open to the public things started to go downhill. Kids were disappearing, adults even. 37 people were gone without a trace. It is said that people who go to lake Kasai never come back. Although, people who've survived say there's a wonder and mystery there. For there are animals that glow, mystical creatures that lie within the water, and things that workers in Area 51 may see. Although, there's something else there. It's not just about the creatures and strange phenomena. A group of college students visiting home didn't realize what they were about to stumble into. While being adventurous and moving past the warning signs and fences, despite being told no, a group of people entered the area of the lake. As they move through the woods they find a lot of strange things. Not far off on the edge of the lake there was a cave. Let's just say they got a little too close and fell in.. Although when they came out they were changed beings with new abilities. All because of a couple of gems located in the cave that traveled under the previous lake Apollo. Now these kids truly did have the powers of the stars which they longed to learn more of. The best part was hiding these things from a cruel society and running from the government who was now on their tails. If they were caught, they could be killed or experimented on, so they only had one option, keep running. If they knew what would happen or if they knew the government were already staked out nearby then maybe they would've never went in.
