Why Do I Even Bother Trying

The title is kinda ironic. At the time I started this I was having severe writer's block, and I thought, why bother? I'll just come up with something I'm not pleased with. But this actually turned into something worth keeping. This story is about a teenage girl who lives alone after family complications. She runs into a sociopathic murderer, though she isn't aware of it when she first meets him. She helps him and grows fond of him, and when she learns of his past she finds she has no choice but to keep his secret.
