She sighed almost in resignation A barely audible whisper left her trembling lips "What do you want me to do Noah? Tell me and I'll do it" She managed to say, only choking on the last word He stopped mid-stride and turned to face her He wore a nonchalant look on his face, shrugged and said, "Do what you gotta do Lisa. Just hurry up and get out of my house." Her frustration hit her full force, "it's still my house too you know, I haven't signed the stupid papers." She couldn't help the eye-roll that followed He looked her dead in the eye and in a voice as cold as a winter day he asked what to others may seem like a simple yes or no question, but to Lisa it weighed her whole life "Should I get you a pen?" ••• Noah and Lisa had been that cliche couple that met and it was love at first sight. Now a few years into their marriage, just a glass of tequila on the rocks and a couple of glasses of wine cause everything they've worked for to fall apart right before their eyes. Will they be able to get past this? Will it ever be the same? Find out in HER REDEMPTION

"Why don't you let something cross that face of yours?" This guy was tough work. And that made me even more determined. "Do you have any idea how humiliated I felt to wake up in an empty bed and find out from a guard that you left for God knows what?!" I shouted into his face. His eyes turned into literal slits that only the grey could be seen. A menacing dark look crossed his features, too strong and harsh that I started to doubt my own actions. I was slammed against the wall, with Ace looming over me. His angry face came up close, making my breath hitch. The grey eyes stared into mine, his strong hands stopping me from moving my wrists that were pinned against the wall beside my head. His lips were in a thin line as it came near me, hovering over my lobe. "You will break yourself trying to break me. We don't want that now, do we?" ###### #1 - husband #1 - wife #1 - romance #6 - humor #16 - arrangedmarriage #1 - billionaire #3 - featured #2 - sadromance #5 - dramaromance #1 - past #1 - emotionalrollercoaster
