Four teens. Four reasons to escape Daedalus Station--the dead end outpost of far flung empire. One derelict ship. One mistake that propels them halfway across the galaxy. Learning to work together as a crew may be the easy part because if the ship doesn’t kill them, the universe will. (Original cover art by Chris Howard, http://the0phrastus.typepad.com/)

NEWS!
Almost exactly one year from when I started writing DERELICT at Readercon 2012, the story has been revised and polished with wonderful feedback from my beta readers and my agent.

It's going out on submission to editors and publishers beginning this coming week (mid June, 2013) and I couldn't be more thrilled!

In preparation, I had to take the story down. My apologies for that, but as a consolation prize, I've updated the first three chapters to reflect the revised story and kept Chris Howard's amazing art to accompany them.

Serializing the first draft of this story was a wonderful experience and I thank you, my readers, for your support and encouragement. Keep your fingers crossed for this one! And I'll keep you posted.

The Space Spinster (on HOLD)

17 parts Complete

A dutiful, ace soldier from Mars faces a dilemma. She can accept an offer from an infuriating gen-eng man from Venus, grab her loyal cat + dig up her inner rebel and maybe become the first human to explore the Galaxy. OR she can keep flying security on the cruise space ships. Did I mention the man from Venus has an unbearable personality and nearly got her killed on Jupiter? Daaaamn! I got cocky and wrote a space opera, yes, with aliens and fast spaceships. Become a part of the audience so small, it's exclusive! First published: long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Now updates as a lite novel with AI art.
