I have borrowed some things from their real lives to enhance the story and give it some familiarity. I have not placed a time stamp on this story as my world contains music from the 70s, 80s and beyond. MTV exists in the way that it did in the 1980s. Each chapter title will be a song and will be accompanied by a video of that track to listen to before or during reading. I hope you like my fresh take on our favorite couple! This story takes place in late 2021 when the Covid pandemic is starting to wane and people are returning to regular life again. Roger is a married man in his mid 40's and John is an art gallery owner in his 40's who has known Roger since school. Freddie is the young artist having a gallery show and Brian is his professor friend from the university where Freddie sometimes teaches drawing and painting courses. Brian is in his late 50's. This was originally housed under a title called - In Another World. A collection of short fics. Since this has become a long fic, I moved it out to be a stand alone piece.
