In order to be a dragon trainer, you have to attend Draconys Academy, where people go for middle and high school to pursue dragon training.
Mishika Lurium is 14. She dreams of being a dragon trainer like her idol, Korysthana. As she prepares for the entrance exam, she unexpectedly meets her idol. Korysthana explains the test to Mishika, saying the only way to pass is to get a dragon to surrender. As Mishika enters the exam, to her surprise, fighting the dragon comes easy. She has a connection to the dragon and it surrenders to her.
On the day of the first classes, Mishika meets new friends Danu and Kagaila and a new rival Oryon.
