Number Eight •The Umbrella Academy•

On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible. He got 8 of the 43.

Piper Hargreeves, or Number Eight, was anything but normal. Her abilities to manipulate elements were of great use in battle, and as well for an occasional prank. She was a part of a group known as the Umbrella Academy. A group known as heroes to the public, but she could hardly see herself as a hero. When the death of her "father" unites her family once more, a hell breaks loose.
