The continent of Lilithia has been ravaged by civil war for one hundred years. Its soil tainted by battle after bloody battle. But all of that changes when the Northern family and the Craven family decide to form a truce. A threat looms off the coast of their country and they fear they can only defeat it together. What is the most powerful way to combine two powerful families?

Young Odelia Northern is the princess of Linfield and has just turned eighteen. Upon her birthday, she is whisked away to the cruel north, where her husband to be awaits. Drake Craven is King in the North and rules with an iron fist. How will the marriage fare? Will their combined forces be able to defeat what broods just off the coast?
