A nearly fatal car crash nearly occurs mainly due to a snarky assistant director driving at 80mph on the streets and a small metal cage falls off its roof with a strange creature inside it. The victim of said close encounter decides to take the creature home with her and shows it off to her adoptive daughters. Well, things are about to get wild for animal-loving investigative twins Willow and Meadow Faye.

The twins Meadow Starr Celestine and AJ Blake Neptune (AJ being short for Atticus Junior), thought that everything with them was somewhat normal until everything changed when two owls broke into their house the day before their eleventh birthday. Being werewolves was already one unexpected thing that the twins learned about themselves before they even learned to walk. Now two owls was waltzing around the house after they had placed two envelopes at the kitchen counter. Meadow walked determined to the counter and picked them up before she stared at her brother who was eating cereal, pretending like everything was normal. Until their mother got pregnant and they had the responsibility of raising their baby sister at the age of 11. They pulled through and it was now the three of them against the world. They believe they can get through anything and they hope that's true when suddenly the brothers who disappeared years ago start to show up looking to mend their relationship with the twins who hold a deep hatred for their older brothers.
