In an alternate universe where having superpowers is a norm in people's lives, Eleanor has a talent in making sand castles ever since she was a child. Despite having the power to manipulate earth and sand, her creations crumble instantly. Now enrolled in a facility which trains people who struggle in using their powers properly, she meets a lonely and secretive man named Will, who isolates himself from her circle of friends despite being roommates. Eleanor's peaceful days in the facility ended right after participating in a tournament, as the parents of a person she knows well, were almost murdered, and an important person working in the facility was kidnapped. With no experience in combat aside from a losing streak in friendly fights against her sister, Eleanor must find ways to improve her powers for her own safety, as well as investigating Will's past which might be related to the case of the kidnapped person.

𝟒×𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 [The Other Realms Series | Book 1] The quietest towns always hold the most magical secrets. That was what thirteen-year-old Stella learned when she was sent to stay with her Aunt Celestine during the summer. During her stay in the sleepy town of Oppidula, Celestine gives Stella an heirloom bracelet. She fastens it around her wrist and makes her promise to not take it off. Soon, Stella learns that there is more to the bracelet than its family legacy. A morning stroll around the small town and a chance encounter with two new friends reveals secrets beyond her imagination. First, Oppidula hides a portal to another world. Second, her bracelet gives her powers. And third, she's not the only one with such jewelry. Under the tutelage of a group of elders, Celestine included, Stella and her new friends embark on a journey to master their powers. However, not everyone is happy to know that a few humans have access to abilities. One of them is hell-bent on stopping them entirely... and last time, he was very close to doing so. Targeted by superpowered terrorists, an actress is protected by the government's strongest guardian--the same woman who broke her heart two years ago. ☆ Elsie Bates won't deny that she's made a few enemies during her fifteen-year acting career, but she never thought her actions would warrant her death at the hands of meta-human terrorists. As if that wasn't bad enough, her federally appointed bodyguard is the famous Camilla Wyatt, the most powerful guardian in the country and Elsie's sworn enemy. Because behind Camilla's sunny personality is a cold and heartless young woman, and no one but Elsie knows the truth. At least, that's what Elsie initially thinks. As it happens, being forced into a protective lockdown with someone can change perspectives, and Elsie slowly uncovers the secret behind Camilla's complicated character. In turn, Camilla begins to realize that maybe "trust issues" shouldn't be in her superpower repertoire, and self-preservation doesn't necessarily require self-isolation. But as the women grow closer, so do the forces that attempt to split them apart. And when the worlds of superpowered militaries, propaganda movies, and hidden conspiracies begin to collide, Elsie and Camilla must rely on each other to survive. ☆ INCLUDES: ✓ Militarized superheroes ✓ LGBTQ+ romance ✓ Diverse characters ✓ Subtle sociopolitical commentary ✓ "Science" FEATURED: ★ 2023 Amby Awards Top Pick (Sci-Fi) ★ @lgbtq Pride Awards 2023 Category Winner (Sci-Fi) ★ @FreeTheLGBT Pride Awards - Third Place ★ @TripleACommunity Aro Ace Awards - Shortlist ★ @superhero, @FreeTheLGBT, @WattpadUrbanFantasy, @StoriesUndiscovered Mature rating is for violence, grotesque descriptions, and swearing. Azira's whole world consisted of being a hero. The daughter of the Dynamic Duo, she was destined to fulfill her role as the dutiful daughter in the Heroes Academy. A world where those with superhuman powers are taught to wield their powers for good and change the world. That is until a villain named Scar enters her life and changes her whole perspective on what it truly means to be the good guy. Scar loves her. And knows she loves him-she just doesn't know that yet herself. But she's about to find out. ~Excerpt~ "Why me?" I asked exasperatedly. "You do all of this for me, and why? For what reason?" "That's where you're still wrong, honey," he said darkly. "I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing this for me. I wanted you, so now you're mine-that's all there is to it. And by being mine, if someone hurts you, they're hurting me. And I am not one to take that disrespect lightly. Do you understand me?" "No." "You will." He knelt next to me, his face hovering over mine, his arms on either side of the machine, caging me beneath his upper body. "I will ruin you-I'll fit you to my mold; I'll take that goody-two-shoes girl you are, and turn her into a force to be reckoned with. One that's mine." I quivered. "All mine." "I..." His proximity had me beyond nervous. My throat constricted as I tried to regain my composure. "Will never be yours." He laughed, his hand caressing my cheek. "You and I both know you already are." *Enemies to lovers (mildly) dark romance* PUBLISHING ALSO ON ROYAL ROAD AS LEELEEACE1
