Imagine growing up where all you know is technology. Everything around you is in shades of white, gray, and blue. No other colors exist. People don't know what real trees look like, how big an ocean is, what a real animal felt like. Everyone is blind because they live in such luxury. They have technology that allows them to converse over dinner without so much as making a movement, it only requires a thought.
This is the world 16 year old Ally Harris lives in. She hates the world around her, wanting to experience color and simple things like the itchiness of grass. Ally is exposed to more than normal people because her grandmother was alive during the days before White World was built. Grandma shows ally what the world used to look like before it became a blank slate and because of that Ally wants to know more.
It's only after the death of her Grandmother that Ally decides to take action, she wants to leave White World, something no one has ever wanted to do. So she sets out on an adventure where she meets people, goes places, and discovers the secret behind White World and the reason it was really created. Soon she became a part of a new family and gained a purpose. What she didn't know was that she was working on a next generation overwatch system called Olympus. A system keeping millions of people trapped on Quill, never to return back to Earth. All given the promise of a high reward. Instead, they were all fooled and became slaves under Olympus watching eye. Millions of humans became stranded on the red desert planet, only to extract fuel back to Earth. Kelly will understand that what she helped to created wasn't just a overwatch system, it was the very foundation of which a new kind of slavery was built on. An intergalactic treadmill to drain Earth from the unwanted. Upon deeper discovery, Kelly will find herself in the middle of an alien civil war that the humans have started and funded to keep the fear amongst the colony workers. Every night, Alex will have flashes of a woman with red hair running with a baby in her arms. Flashes of a lab and scientists experimenting on him. He always wakes up in a cold sweat and breaths heavily after every nightmare. A few years later, the old Iraq vet died of old age and Alex couldn't bring himself to visit his friend's grave. The vet's family knew about Alex, but he disappeared after his friend died of old age. But one day he saw someone who was fighting with the Avengers and the new Avengers and she had pink skin and green hair with yellow eyes. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her, until she was hit by a bad guy that she and both teams were fighting and something inside Alex snapped when he saw her get hurt. Without thinking he leapt into action and fought the bad guy. But something happened to him that day that he never knew about. He gained superpowers.
