Before Layla moved to the city of Sterling, she was a fairly normal girl. She was shy, but not in any way weak, and she had friends like every other teenager. That all begins to change after she moves to her new home though. 
Layla is thrust into a new world that she is more a part of than she knows. She will slowly start to figure out things that will answer the questions of her past, but will she be able to handle this new world and the dangers that come with it? Will she even have the choice to do otherwise?
