There are so many things in this world that people don't understand. But Genevieve had. She understood more than she could take, it wasn't rocket science to her. It was as easy as drinking water. Until the most series of unfortunate events took a place in her life. Genevieve was a carefree spirit, probably more free than the actual carefree spirits there are. But now, Carefree Genevieve was on the run. Running from something that her eyes would never let her unseen ever again in her life. Murder. She stood there with nothing but warning bells in her minds. It wasn't her fault. It wasn't her fault that she had been at the wrong place at the wrong time. It wasn't her fault that she was a witness to crime scene. And it certainly wasn't her fault that she had caught the attention of the America's Most Wanted Criminal. It was unexpected for her. Everything was. Like her mother use to say. "You can't expect the unexpected," Life Lesson Taught. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Title of Story Inspired by Song: Tidal Wave - Chase Atlantic Cover created by Yours Truly. Credit to Desygner for Image

“She died at seven last night, she was murdered. Knife to the chest, she struggled and it was made to look like an accident.” The woman’s memories played through my mind. Lifting my now bloody hand off of her chest, I nodded at the LAPD officials and took the sketchpad. I quickly sketched the man from her memory, and handed it back. “His name is Marcus.” With that, I left the crime scene. You can't run away from your death, it's inevitable. But what if someone could see your death, prolong your end until another time. How much would you pay, to avoid Death's clutches? How many dollars would you fork over to one woman, to extend the ticking clock of your life? Decide soon, because you're running out of time. Tick, Tock. *This story will not be finished. I don't like it, and it doesn't make any sense. I'm going to leave it up, and it may be re-written one day. Thanks for your patience.
