A compelling story that documents the experiences of five college sophomores: Jewel, Shaun, Dirk, Lavender, and Coba. This story explores the modern social and racial complexities of being black in higher education. With the illustrious predominantly white institute (PWI), Carnie University and the distinguished historically black college (HBCU) Nickelson College as their stages, this group of friends battles racial oppression, overcoming self doubt, and claiming self reliance as they search for their own meanings of black American Exceptionalism, black classism, and most importantly, Hip-Hop as our inheritance through their respective callings.

Celebrity life wasn't always peaches and cream with chocolate syrup on top. It was a nightmare, especially if you were the child of a celebrity. That was how eighteen-year-old, Shai Carter, felt his entire life. Born to an NBA player and supermodel, Shai rarely had an image for himself. He didn't have a life and his dreams were shut down. The campus of Silver Crypres University or (SCU) was buzzing with excitement as the new school year was about to start. All the students were eager to see the new semester unfold and the newest arrival, the hearttrob college student, was no exception. He was the new heartthrob on campus his name was Off , the one that all the girls were talking about and all the guys wanted to be. As he moved into his dorm room, he had no idea that the boy he would soon be sharing it with was his complete opposite. His name was Gun and he was the anti-heartthrob. he hated the idea of heartthrobs and was determined to make sure that this heartthrob college student knew it. he was determined to make life difficult for him and to give him a hard time. Little did the two know, however, that they would soon become roommates. It was a complete accident that the two ended up sharing a room together, but it was a situation that neither of them were prepared for. At first, the two were completely at odds with each other Gun seemed determined to make the heartthrob college student's life a living hell and the heartthrob college student seemed determined to make it his mission to win him over. As time went on, however, the two began to realize that they had more in common than they thought. They began to grow closer and soon enough, they were inseparable. What began as a rivalry blossomed into a romantic comedy of epic proportions. With the help of their friends, the two were able to overcome their differences and eventually became the perfect couple. The heartthrob college student and the anti-heartthrob were able to overcome their differences and create a beautiful romance that was the talk of the campus. They became the perfect example of how opposites attract. It was an unlikely love story, but one that everyone was rooting for. In the end, it was a story of two people who found love in the most unlikely of places.Complete
