People are losing their hope in ending this war because Voldemort is only getting stronger. It almost seems that he'll win in the end. But if there is one thing to learn from history is that as people create the villains, the villains themselves create the heroes.
The difference now is that fighters are born to fight against Voldemort only to bear children that were never born to fight but to lead.
