Robert owned one of the most popular restaurants in the area, Robbie's, which focuses on a high value experience with shocking low prices. The police haven't revealed if foul play is involved. "Amateur Suspects" is a glimpse into the life of 12 twenty-somethings after their boss is found shot dead in the bathroom of his own restaurant. Complete with annoying families, the struggles of being a minority, romance, questioning faith, and police interrogations. Lots of police interrogations.

There are mentions of violence and sexual situations. If any of these things could possibly be triggering, I strongly suggest not sitting down to enjoy this book.

" I'm sick of you putting your hands on me Johnny!" A loud gunshot went off, echoing around the house, and for the first time, it was quiet. No more door slamming, no more cleaning up my mother's blood off the walls, and no more fighting. I remember asking my mother "Are we free?" I swear it felt like Christmas or New Year's. All I can hear is cheering in my head or maybe ringing. For the first time in 12 years Mother and I were able to sleep that hot summer night in bed together. April's life changed once she saw her dad Johnny get murdered right in front of her, by her mother June. She was the most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Kind, sweet, and one of the few people with a higher GPA then him, she was amazing and Aiden imagined that she would be all his. Once Aiden gets rid of her boyfriend, Aaron Tyler. The most annoying guy you will ever meet, Aiden gags just thinking about him. The man is smoking hot and makes Aiden's dreams of getting the girl to seem very impossible. So what would happen if Aiden gets involved with the wrong person? Will Aiden get the girl? This is a short story about a band-obsessed outcasted teen and the handsome barista of the new café. (Cliché, i know. But pfff) Gabe is around his two best and only friends almost all of the time. The people in school make fun of him because they don't think he's 'cool enough'. But Gabe ignores them as good as he can. When the three of them go to the new café down the road, the hot barista immediately catches Gabes eyes. The barista seems pretty interested but Gabe is too scared he will only make fun of him like the others.
