This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. For every question WHY You were my BECAUSE Anxiety. Depression. Panic Attacks. A small touch of Haphephobia. After years of abuse and sadness, Charlotte finally puts her past behind her and starts over. She finds a new job, a new group of friends, and Axel; life can't get any better. She can finally breathe. She starts to experience happiness and love, but her past keeps coming back to haunt her, showing up at the worst moments and taking her happiness away. She's thrown back into it face first; the drugs, the gangs, the ex that she promised wouldn't lay a hand on her again... Her new life mixes with her old and her secrets are revealed, promises are broken, and everything becomes too much. ------- "I can't just shut it off." I speak softly, wanting Axel to understand that this is who I am. This is the real Charlotte. "I know. You just...you don't have to be alone anymore, Char." My eyes focus on our entwined fingers as my heart beats wildly in my chest, his words repeating in my head. I stare, feeling the weight of his words sink in slowly. Being alone is all I've ever known. "Let me prove it to you." His words sound like a promise, and I gulp, my eyes finally finding his. I find myself wanting to believe him. Wanting to trust him. But there was something about Charlotte. She wasn't like the most prettiest girl in the world, but anyone with heart could tell that she had a beautiful heart. A heart that could easily be broken. A heart that needed to be protected. -- Her parents dead. Everything she ever cared for, gone. She lives on the streets, shelter filled with people who want revenge. She's dangerous. Dangerous to even look at. She finds herself registering at a high-school. Broke, orphaned and lost. She's in trouble and she can't hide forever. High school seems like the most perfect place to hide. When the last shard of her past supposedly dies, there's no one to turn to. When she finds herself in captivity from someone she pissed off, she is saved by her tutor, Peter. Coincidentally, he has a similar past to hers. Together, they detangle themselves from the mess they are entangled in. Twists and turns strangle their necks, making it harder and harder to breathe. Life falls, and death rises. Holding onto that last shred of hope can be dangerous. When one of them is lost forever, the other mourns loudly but is unheard. But nothing will ever be enough.

Charlotte and her sister are no strangers to sadness. The rip your heart out and smash it to the ground type of sadness. But when they moved a thousand miles away from everything they knew, they thought they'd escape that constant ache. Instead, with the assistance of their new classmates, it soon becomes their lives once again. They discover parts of themselves that were better left untouched--parts that will say anything to get them longing for an escape from their own minds. The voices in their heads pounce on their weakness and drag them deeper into the darkness until they can no longer remember what the sky was like. If they don't find a way out of their voices' clutches, they won't see that sky again.

17 year old Charlotte has troubles at home. With a abusive father and a mother who's always drunk life gets rough. All she wants to do is get through high school and move out. Then she meets 17 year old Peter. Who is nice, funny, and amazingly cute. But peter also has secrets of his own. Will they build a relationship? Or will they end it all? Editing book. Charlotte sat there unmoving, tears falling down her cheeks. She could not do anything as she watched her sisters casket go down into the ground. She did not look to her older brothers for comfort, she did not look to her parents. She just sat there and sadly watched her sister and bestfriend, her twin, as she got burried in the ground. Her heart felt like there was an empty void in it, a missing-or rather-a dead piece. The sky opened up ontop of them, though non of them cared, they welcomed the rain and what it brought. For Charlotte, it meant new life. A life without her twin. Charlotte's never done anything without her sister before, but now she's going to have to. ~~ Charlotte grew up with her twin being her best friend, the one who helped her through the toughest times in her life. They had a connection that astounded people.The pain of losing someone so close, of someone who was literally like your other half, is one that no one should have to experience. But Charlotte did. Now, after her twin's death, Charlotte will not only have to live life without her twin, but learn to get close to people again. With struggles of self worth and depression, Charlotte has a hard time accepting her life as it now is. She even gains an unlikely friend but is hesitant to even let him in her life. Will this person and her family help Charlotte cope with her life as it is now? Who will save her from herself?

Kimberly Weatherhead has the worst life any fourteen year old girl could have. Her mother has died with colon cancer, he dad is rarely sober and abuses her, she is being bullied and has no friends. Will it end well..?

(WARNING: When I started this book I was like 13 so sorry for it's probably cringingness and grammar mistakes and everything else. -And I am not fixing it, because I just want to move on to new books. But whoever reads please enjoy.) Zoe Lane She's alone. She has no friends. Or parents, they died when she was fourteen. But even then she didn't have anyone close. No one cares about her. So she does the same thing every day. She's broken. School- Only focuses on her school work. She sits alone at lunch. Doesn't have friends to talk to. And during the passing periods to her next classes. She tries to avoid the bulling. But she still goes home to new burises everyday. Home- She doesn't have an parents. Or brother or sisters to take care of her. And she's not even close to being rich to hire a maid to help. She has an alcoholic uncle who uses her for his own pleasure. And when she doesn't listen, he beats her. Which is often, and it doesn't help when she already has people beating her everyday. How does she deal with it?

Maeve is tired and is running. Running from the ruin she already is. She knows she can't help herself. But she want to live. Surviving is not want she wants but that's how she lives now. Education being important also take a toll on her already distraught life. .. .... ...... Meeting new people, learning how to trust and making lasting relationships is her life now ..
