Yugi is a college student who just graduated from Medical school with the highest scores in class. He is accepted by a five star rated hospital in Domino, where he is assigned apprenticeship to Dr. Yami Sennen, who specializes in Head, neck, chest, and abdominal trauma, all 4 stages.
He takes Yugi in and starts to work with him, getting him used to the atmosphere of almost never knowing when your patient could die on you or you could make any mistake at any time.
But when one is hurt badly, can the other be left "In Safe Hands"?
It's been 2 years since the Ceremonial Duel between Yami/Atem and Yugi. Yugi still hasn't gotten over that Yami has left for the afterlife and hasn't done a whole lot since. When the story of Yugi's father becomes clearer, can he handle who he truly is or will he fall into a pit of despair and loneliness. After all what if Yami's departure wasn't a goodbye, but merely until next time I see you.
YamiXYami/Atem eventually but not right away. I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh or it's characters. Just the plot. Might turn into multiple books.
