During the Berk coming of age entrance test (long name I know) five young Vikings face the outdoors alone for a year. Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut. They expect a boring year filled with fights, little food, and dragon attacks. But don't expect a mysterious dragon rider with a connection to Berk.

Long ago, there was a village of vikings on a small island known as Berk, which suffered weekly, sometimes even nightly raids from fire breathing dragons. However the chief's wife, Valka, believed peace was possible between the Vikings and Dragons but no one believed her. During a terrible raid, she was taken by a dragon that showed signs of kindness. However she wasn't the only one taken since she grabbed her infant, Hiccup Haddock the Third, to keep him away from a fire started by the dragon who was startled by her husband. Unfortunately she couldn't grab her other son, a toddler, in time and he was left behind with his father. Over the years, the boy grew up hating dragons and counted down the days until he could join the warriors in battle, defending his village and avenging his brother and mother. However his father always kept him inside the forge during raids in fear of losing the only family he had left. There, the boy became a bit of an inventor as well as a decent blacksmith. However all of that changed when one night, using one of his inventions, he shot down the most dangerous and mysterious dragon in the entire Archipelago. The Night Fury...

Y/n Thorston, the older sibling of both Tuffnut Thorston and Ruffnut Thorston. They had always been quite comedic and was always there in times of need. They had been carried off by a legendary dragon only spoken about in myth, The Boneknapper. A young Boneknapper although still quite strong had carried them off towards an unknown island, Y/n was never to be seen again after that incident. Now that Berk has formed peace with the dragons, Tuffnut and Ruffnut have trained a Zippleback Dragon and travel with Hiccup Haddock, Astrid Hofferson, Fishlegs Ingerman and Snotlout Jorgenson. What'll happen when they come across a dragon auction and find a Boneknapper burning the place to the ground with a mysterious rider on top of them? ~~~~ #1 in Astridhofferson

Y/N haddock is a misunderstood kid on berk alongside their brother Hiccup haddock, one night they were being attacked by dragons and the two fifteen year olds had managed to put the last night fury and stormcutter in nets harming both dragons severely making both teenagers outlook on dragons different. Once they found the two they did unspeakable things that berk would never forgive them for and their friends Snotlout, Fishlegs, astrid, ruff and tuff don't even know about it. What happens when the two build bonds with both critically endangered dragons and berk finds out about it after a scary and a frightening event in the fighting arena happens and they are forced to tell everyone? Will they bring berk and dragons together or fail making it cost their best friends life and freedom? Read to find out!

Together, they help her conquer an enemy that has plagued their homeland for centuries. A HTTYD/Alice in Wonderland AU For all intents and purposes, this series is complete. At some point, though, I may come back and expand it 😉 I don't own HTTYD or its characters.
