They lost...
Thanos had done exactly what he said he would do. He had killed half of all living things in the universe in a click of his fingers. And they had failed to stop him, killing friends and family.
After splitting up after mourning the deaths, the avengers must find a way to reverse the heart breaking blow, or the final blow will be permanent.
