In the year 2085, Enoch Truss, Father of Mars, led our ancestors to the red planet in pursuit of liberty. All of the colonies were destroyed except for one: Canis, the leader of the evacuation. Canis's designated animal was the wolf. We escaped Earth and made it to Pluto, colonized it, made it our new home. They found us again. Only a few survivors live on. My father, the captain and leader, was killed in the attack. My friends survived with me, and we all agree there is only one place we can run. We have to go back. We must return to our home. My name is Mark O'Connor, and I am the last surviving leader of the human race. There is no one else left in command. There's no one to tell me what to do anymore. There are no more others. The worst part is... we're not alone out here.

This is a science fiction novel about a girl and an alien creature trying to escape a newly discovered planet light years away from Earth. This planet supports life along with alien creatures who want the astronauts as they're next meal. 100 years into the future scientists discover a new planet that seems to support life. This planet has been named Discordia named for its unique appearance and odd looking structures. It was the first time mankind discovered we were not alone in the universe- these beings are nicknamed Discords and they crave human flesh and blood ... The astronauts are dying and no one can do anything to stop it. One survivor remains on Discordia. Shira is a 21 year old girl who is the youngest woman to become an astronaut who survived the alien attacks. But they aren't the only things Shira needs to worry about- Shira finds out that the surviving astronauts aren't who they say they are. On her mission to survive she meets a companion a bright blue creature that resembles a fox. Crescentia is an alien creature of Discordia who finds Shira fascinating and wants to help her escape with one condition... That Shira takes Crescentia with her. But Crescentia has to control her urges for human flesh before she does something she regrets. Can Shira and Crescentia escape this planet before they end up left for dead?

In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? Note: This story was written during a challenge to write an entire book in one week!
