In the human plane, the Demon Black Market existed so that the demons currently residing there could get their hands on any number of seedy and likely illegal items. The market had another function on the demon side, however, and this purpose is what allowed it to operate with relative impunity. Lackeys of the Demon Lord, known as Enforcers, were more than happy to turn a blind eye in favor of keeping a steady inflow of what the Demon Lord and other demons desired. And what they desired, more often than not, were human pets. A series of stories where each brother is forced into ownership of a human and forced to navigate the perils of the Abyssal Plains whilst keeping her safe. Tori is Sam's path. AN: If you are here because you read the first work in this series, Cora, almost two years ago, Wow! It has been a really long time, hasn't it? Just as an fyi, Cora is currently being re-worked to fix all of the (in my opinion) glaring issues with the plot and characterization, as well as just clean up some of the formatting and word choice. That will also be true of the first chapter of Tori. Thank you for your continuing support and for those of you who have waited so very long, a big hug for you! Your patience with me has been a wonder.

Chronicle one of the Drågoon Mémoirs. Born a Magi into a life of privilege, Samahdemn grew up in a society where being born with such a gift undocumented is deemed a crime by long-standing religious decree. Over the centuries of his life, due to a constant mental disquiet because of his aggressive and sometimes violent nature, he's gone from being a disgraced noble, to a slaver, to a Knighted servant of his homeland's crown, where he eventually found some measure of peace by venting his magickally suppressed aggression in a more positive direction. Or so he thought at the time. Eventually finding himself in the shadow of looming hostilities between Åmbrosįå (the world's beloved Goddess) and Lumå'įl (Her former consort-turned-old displaced God), Samahdemn finds himself being quietly pushed from being a mortal on the verge of losing control of his life, to an immortal with the soul of a Drågon. Charged to lead mortals in a conflict that endangers every man, woman and child on Mundus be them Man, Mer or Fae. After begrudgingly accepting this fate and leading the holy charge in the devastating Dįvonësë War over the lands of the living world and helping to save it from fates unknown, if only barely, he now writes his mémoirs in the hopes that doing so will give him the piece of mind to know that all of his means truly were justified by their ends.
