Taking place a couple of days after Bloodwitch, this is my book-style prediction of what will happen in book 4 of the Witchlands series by Susan Dennard (world and characters all belong to her, along with my heart and eternal devotion.) 

Aeduan is free. No Monastery or life debts to keep him tied down. But he still has one thing left to complete- not a job, but an obligation. He's tracking something down- not an item, but a person. And if he dooms the Raiders in the meantime, so be it. He made his choice.

Iseult is frustrated. Stuck within the palace of Emperor Henrik, her thread sister betrothed to him, she must navigate the complicated social hierarchy of the court while facing racism because of her No'amatsi heritage. There's only one person who can help her now- but he's on the other side of the Witchlands, with no way of finding her.

Vivia is exhausted. Attempting to lead a small group of refugees beneath the catacombs beneath Nubreva, the danger is at every turn and nothing can change the fact that she is hopelessly lost. Her only points of clarity are the Foxfire she hopes the origin well is using to led her to the surface- and Vaness, the powerful young Ironwitch who rules the Empire of Marstok and is her only hope for saving the Witchlands from an all-out war.

Safi is determined. She will not marry the wrinkly old toad that is the Emperor of Cartorra. She has her thread sister back, her Hell Bards by her side, and is ready to leave this rutting country altogether- and hopefully, find out what really happened to the Prince of Nubreva. She only has to wait until the wedding. Then, she can make her great escape. She just has to make sure they all survive that long.All Rights Reserved

Esme had one big fear in life: being captured as a thief by the city's guardsmen and being executed for her crimes, and that so heavily weighed on her mind that she increased her risks by being distracted in the middle of a heist. That's when she runs into Althalos Fourthborn: Inner Circle Guardsman, one of the many princes of the realm, an Aelif (Dark Elf, local dialect)...and her betrothed by treaty. (That was something her almost human mind could not handle.) So she calls off the heist, gets demoted into a far more risky job, learns the true bitter depth of what this treaty's bond is like, and lands safely by her prince's side....sort of. There were people who still wanted to end her life, even if she was in what most people would call a Happily Ever After. That and her prince had his own living fears that were gnawing at any chance they had. That and she might just lose her mind from everyday boredom. But the one she couldn't wrap her all-too human mind around was that she would one day grow wings and fly away from her almost Happily Ever After to live in a hive with ancestors more alien than a hottie with pointed ears and abandonment issues. ~~~~ Yes, there are adult themes in this book, and difficult subjects, but nothing is excessive, as this is probably my simplest story. So, trigger warnings: A history of assault. Occasional vulgar language. References to partial cannibaliam. Extremely mild, light, and rare sex scenes. At least one elitist mentality. ~~~~ Ages of MC/ML: Esme: Apparent age of 24, roughly 20 years lived (mostly human). Althalos: Apparent age of 30, roughly 65 years lived (Elves mature slower).

These Ganashes-Michael, Alicia, Chelsea and Chris-take her to the Ganash Headquarter of RiverPlain on a quest to find her fate. Machire is part of the Amnesian Government in the UpperWorld. He is a well-known, persuasive man and his job is supposed to be keeping peace amongst the Faery world that his hidden within Earth. But, when he discovers the UnderWorld, his thirst for power grows. And just like any other greedy man would do, he tries to put the UnderWorld under his wing. A legend claims that this will not go well, that instead of ruling the worlds, he will destroy them. It claims that the girl who slays the Incoy Dragon is the Savior, and that her name is Willow. In a rush to speed up the prophecy, Ganashes have been taking Willows and sending them on almost-sure-death missions to kill the monster. Willow Glasspiers is next in line to determine her fate. Is it to slay the Incoy Dragon, or is it to have her corpse piled among the hundreds of Willows who have attempted to kill the monster?
