Number 8 never fit in with her family. She was an outcast right from the start. The other children had years to bond with each other before she came along. She was this little red-headed child who was scared of her own shadow and had to learn to live with 6 over the top personalitys, and the shy number 7. 
She tried her hardest to get along with everyone but only had one true friend. Number 2 or "Diego" as their mother had named him. 
Even her strong connection with Number 2 couldn't keep her around. After Number 5 disappeared there, their father became more focused on her and her abilities. She wanted to please him but never did well under presser. Then when number 5 died nothing was ever the same. The children came face to face with there morality, and NUmber 8 started to come unhinged. 
One stormy night when the power went out leaving them all in darkness it happened. The incident that finally drove Number 8 away. 
She ran from home as fast as she could, without saying goodbye to anyone. NO one has seen here since. NO matter how hard Number 2 looked, he was never able to track her down. 
What will happen now that their father is dead and all of them have come home? 
Will they finally all be able to get along or continue to be a dysfunctional mess.
And how will Number 2 react to seeing her for the first time in nine years?
