Her Facade

"Hi, my name is Hayden Steel. I am 18 years old born and raised in New York City" I say confidently. Across the table sit 2 men in black suits and a women in a suit, all holding a folder.
Nope they haven't even opened those folder yet, their eyes are on me. Though they are looking at me I feel as if they are looking through me.

Keep smiling Hayden I think to myself, or should I have a straight face? They aren't smiling, is this even a happy thing?

"Tell me about yourself Steel" Being pulling from arguing with myself inside my head, I straighten my back.

"Umm well I graduated early from high school due to my high IQ score, I was a gymnast for sometime then did high school cheer" Softening my words i see them not looking at me anymore but through those folders. A pair of eyes shoot up at me making me continue. "a-after graduating high school i haven't had much to do so i've been working out and boxi-"

"Tell me about your dad Hayden" The man in the middle closes the pages and looks up at me. "Daniel Steel"

My dad why would they want to know about my dad?

"He uh, um he passed away in a car accident when i was 12" The smile is completely wiped from my face as memories resurface.

"And what makes you think we will accept you Steel" The girl pops in. I was never really a big fan of girls or them being my friends, always have an attitude and such. Lifting my head I look directly at her and smile.

"With my background and your training, I will be the best spy you guys have" I finish. They all look at each other then back at me before standing up and fixing their suits.
Oh lord here it comes, just say yes.
