Madeline Grey is known to her pack as a weak wolf who's been shielded from all the monstrosities the world would give. On her 18th birthday, she finds her mate but her biggest fear comes true and she's rejected. With no hope for the future and told to leave and never look back, she runs. Before she's able to end her life, she meets a rogue wolf who takes her under his wing and promises to train her to not be so weak anymore. Seven years later, she finds herself leading a pack by herself with no idea how to actually run one. When a treaty arises and her old pack shows up, along her with true mate, old tensions come up and she's split between two decisions. Will she get a second chance at love or will she go through this life the way she's always been, alone?

"You know you can't resist me much longer." He continued to trail kisses down my neck and jaw. I bit my lip to keep a moan from escaping. "I am your mate and Alpha, I order you to not touch any male or flirt with them." "In case you have forgotten, I'm a rogue, I don't have to listen to you." The alpha growled and I couldn't stop the smirk from forming on my lips. He pushed me harder onto the wall and moved closer so every inch of our bodies were touching. It took every ounce of strength I had to stop myself from jumping him right there. He moved his hand to caress my cheek and I found myself leaning into his touch. "When I first laid my eyes on you, you were mine. If I see any male looking at you inappropriately or longer than necessary, that will be the last thing they see. You are mine and only mine. I'm not one to share what belongs to me."
