Danielle Pierce, she is a soccer player. Even though she is a small town Canadian girl, she manages to make it on to the California Boys State Soccer Team. The boys and herself lead each other to the American championships of their age group undefeated. Winning the championship match means that team is going to represent America in the national championships taking place in Japan.

While Dani is there she manages to miss the flight back and ends up having to stay there until her father can buy a plane ticket back. In Japan she meets six boys that call themselves a host club.
