Falcon Mirabella is a strong-willed, fourteen-year-old girl. One day, she wakes up on the ground in a place she's never seen, and she can't remember anything. She is quickly welcomed by Ari, Ash, and Char: three bird-human hybrids called Eons, who reveal to Falcon that she is one, too. The group is soon joined by four more Eons, and as they all bond, are threatened by dark Eons called Horrors, and fight to protect themselves, Falcon learns the cost of life and love.
