Opal hadn't known that she had powers until she embarked on a perilous adventure across the island of Pyrexia. And not just any power, the power of a Quartz! Something mysterious has set off the wrath of the VoidWings and Opal and her friends, Sea, Stardust and Drift set off across the continent to find out what's going on and stop it. Will they succeed or will the tribes be lost in shadows?

A little snippet of my story.

Sea slithered up and bared her fangs. Stardust walked up and illuminated her wings and Opal went in front of both of them already digging her claws into the earth.
"Opal what are you doing!?" Sea and Moonstone asked. Opal said nothing and dug her claws harder. Small crystals started to grow at the entrance. The VoidWings stopped their assault and looked on with wide eyes. The crystals grew fast, covering the entrance to Unakite's main cave. Opal left a little hole to poke her head through. Instead Sea poked her head through and hissed loudly at the four VoidWings. Through the pale translucent crystals Opal could just about see all four VoidWings rift away.

Decades of wars and unrest have clawed at the sides of Pyrrhia's dragons for as long as they can remember, and the tales of true peace and dragonets of prophecy are simply whispers of the past. Shrike has never been regarded by his tribe as a real SkyWing. His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. Years of lost wars, unfulfilled treaties, and an excessively lavish lifestyle lived by their ruler, Queen Markhor, have left the SkyWing tribe impoverished and starving, and Shrike, the princess's personal bodyguard, has witnessed the consequences of the Queen's ignorance firsthand. A diplomacy meeting with the SeaWings gone wrong erupts in yet another bloody war, and Shrike is swept up in battle before finding himself caught in between the jaws of the political turmoil that seem to be tearing his tribe apart from the inside out. To make matters worse, a prescient warning delivered years before by the continentally renowned prophet, Hereafter, is unraveling before Shrike's eyes, and its exhortations seem like an echo chamber awfully reminiscent of his own life. That coupled with a newfound power in his claws leaves him spiraling and wondering one question: could 𝘩𝘦 be the terror of talons? ✦ Please read the introductory pages! They will be EXTREMELY informative for understanding the basics of Pyrrhia's situation and the timeline leading up to this story. Consider leaving a vote if you enjoy this story! [This is Book 2 of The Twilight Star Prophecy Arc] <Β°*^--------------------------*{O}*--------------------------^*Β°> The book series "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me and rightfully belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. The world and tribes are all by Tui T. Sutherland. I only own the writing and the OCs I made (Also Reef Beach and Town of Cactus!). Some parts of the world may be rewritten to fit the nature of this story. Do not use my OCs or cover art in anyway without my permission. Thank you.

Imagine reading your favorite book series when you're suddenly transported into it. That's what happend to Daniel Lorence when he is transported into the fictional world of Pyrrhia. With the knowledge of reading all fifteen books he knows everything about everyone, however when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel will have to go on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when somone starts to pull the strings on his mind as well as the minds of the dragons around him, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: This takes place in a timeline where a school year has already passed without the whole Darkstalker drama. Everything else happend including Carnelians death and the whole Icicle being dream visited by scarlet which means scarlet is dead. Also the JW don't know about moons powers. (Peril knows about Turtle being an animus) In other words it's close to Canon but not quite. Also warning that this book contains some cussing every now and then, currently working on getting rid of it. Thanks to @StormingFire555 for the cover design.
