After a deadly accident in a bio lab, a deadly virus is released into the world. The virus infects people and turns them into zombies, some even into mutants. The virus soon spreads, infecting more and more. Michael, one of three protagonists, while at school, sees an infected attack a fellow student. Makes it home, and informs his mother. Then Michael and his mother head for a nearby fallout shelter and arrives at safety. After 10 years Michael emerges out of the shelter. To find a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies and mutants. Michael now must find out how to survive in the new world. And little does he know his story soon intertwines with two of his best friends. Whose names will be revealed later on in the story.
