Belle lives in a small village on the outskirts of Plockton. Belle's father is an inventor who lost his wife during child birth. After he finishes one of his inventions he leaves for the fair, but when he doesn't return, four days after he's supposed to, Belle sets out to make sue he's okay, a day after she sets out she finds his invention on the side of a small dirt road, she follows it, but is confronted by wolves,a mysterious man, and an old lady. She finally finds her fathers horse in front of a mysterious looming gate, behind it is a large castle. Thinking that her father was caught in a storm and holed himself up in an abandoned castle, she goes in...

There's a Mansion secluded in the thick forest south of town that Isabelle happened to run into one very stormy night. Denied help from the Master, but aided by the servants, she finds her life intertwined with theirs and there's nothing she can do to stop it. The Master is horrible - beastly. He's powerful, and manages to put Isabelle under a spell of his own. A story of two people learning about themselves by falling in love with the other.
