The enigmatic girl known only as Moody comes from an unstable past. Once a member of a notorious terrorist organization called the Crimson Skulls, she caused havoc and bedlam all in the name of her leader, Dr. Duncan Drevis. But those days are past; after Dr. Duncan Drevis's redemption, the Crimson Skulls have disbanded, with Moody relocating to the Rusted Citadel on one of Asia's archipelagoes and leading a brave rebellion in her attempts to free it from the ruthless, tyrannical rule of the Iron Kingpin.
In 2021, they succeeded, with the help of half of the Paragons: The Viper, Dr. Duncan Drevis himself, The Crawler, and Duncan's sister Monica, known as the superheroine Voltara. Moody gained invisibility and intangibility powers, too, and swore to use them for good in defending the reborn city as the superheroine Specter, alongside its new head, King Ryker, and his court: T.J., Logan, Ollie, and Sylvester.
But as the Rusted Citadel struggles to escape the shadow of the Iron Kingpin's despotic rule and embrace its brighter future, a new threat has emerged. A movement called the Shattered Circle works to reignite the conflict, with the goal of making money off of both sides for their own gains. With methods such as blackmailing, weapon trading, and information bargaining, they seek to return the Rusted Citadel to ruin and flee with the spoils.
Moody has been tasked by King Ryker with investigating and taking down the Shattered Circle, and only time will tell if she succeeds.....or if the Rusted Citadel's dreams of freedom and liberty were always meant to be a fantasy from the start.
