Years after the battle with Zeref. Most mages in the guilds wanted to settle down well as guild members could. Sadly nothing stays peaceful for long in Fairy Tail. When a new enemy emerges and starts an all-out war. Fairy Tail loses over half its guild members. Most of them are either declared missing or dead leading the guild to disband again. Many other guilds lost many members and Magnolia is beginning to revitalize. 5 years later Lucy, Erza, and Mira decide to reform the guild along with some other members. Most Fairy Tail girls are now single mothers to children of the deceased or maybe not. When a threat arises the mages of Fiore don't know if they can take it again but maybe unraveling this mystery can bring healing to all.

Natsu Dragneel is 17 years old, he is in his final year at Fairy Tail High. Natsu is closed off, detached, rude and generally doesn't like being around people. There's a new transfer student and he just can't seem to get rid of her and he's not sure if he's annoyed or happy with her presence. Lucy moves to Magnolia transferring to Fairy Tail High hoping to get a fresh start after the last few rough years. She makes some fast friends who she seems to treat like family, she even reunites with a family member she hadn't seen in years. However she also bumps into the coldest man she's every met and something about him just seems off and maybe nostalgic.
