Mario and Peach find out that there is a Tennis doubles tournament, but after countless attempts to train Mario, Peach gets frustrated and leaves Mario, which upsets him. Meggy witnessed this and felt bad for the plumber. Meggy joins Mario's team and teaches him how to play Tennis, and the tournament begins.

Soon Mario's gaze had to come to an end because the "All Star Meggy Spletzer" had to shoot ink at him, but Mario didn't stay mad at her, so he followed Meggy where she was going to train with her team.
