Hello, Logan here. It is 2021, and this is the first book that I ever wrote. It's shit. I'm publishing it back on Wattpad again so my friend can read it. It is unedited and as I left it in 2017. I am currently published with three books out, and this is so funny to look back on. Enjoy reading my shittest work to date. In the words of a great philosopher; there is no limit to the gruesome and grotesque things we are willing to do in the name of survival. While reading this; Remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember that loved characters will die. Remember that the world will gradually get worse as the parts go on. Take a moment to ask yourselves these questions: What would you do in the name of survival? Would you steal to survive? Would you kill to survive? Would you lose your mind to survive? If you lost your mind, do you think you'd kill more, steal, injure, backstab, rape or any other atrocity you can think of? If you can think of it, then maybe you would. The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Amber's Apocalypse - A Travelogue Companion to This Is The Fall
April 22 I've been walking for days, they're still tracking me though. i sleep high in the trees, I double back, walk in the river, cover my tracks, start false trails...it's all slowing me down but it's really the only chance I have. I'm on foot. I'm alone. The day the grid went down I was in the mountains and I stayed put for over a month, unable to contact anyone. The electricity is out, the phones don't work, no running water, no cars, no radio...nothing. It's dangerous to go into towns now, survivors are scared, starving and dying by the thousands, but their bodies seem to just disappear. Sometimes I hear screams in the night that sound like they come straight from the depths of Hell, and the scent of sulphur and rot rides on the breeze when the heaviest clouds block out the sun. I think it's the thing that got Dan...the thing that's almost gotten me. Whatever it is, it's completely unnatural and I just know I have to stay ahead of it or I'll be just as dead as Dan is.Complete
Running from our future
Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? After the first five chapters all chapters are 1000+ words, so no itty bitty update chapters. Ongoing-regular updates
The After Effects
After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. Thankfully I was able to escape his peachy influence and take some control of my new life. What I don't know is the Plague brought on after effects. Everything changed eleven years ago and only a few knew what actually happened after billions of people died. That all changes one-day though and I found my life completely flipped upside down.
