It's high school. There's dances, late-night parties, and lots of tests. Everyone has a girlfriend, or boyfriend. They have to make the most of their lives before college, and anyone that asks them out they say yes. Except for Katie. When her middle school crush suddenly becomes a huge part of her life, what would she do without him? Twists and turns and new friendships. But Katie has always been shy, since when would she have the guts to tell him how she feels?

Brooklyn goes to middle school. She thinks having a crush on some guy seems easy but stupid. She has had a crush on Jack Palmer for a few years now. Though, she doesn't really know love. Each day seems to be it's usual, until he offers to take her to a party. The classic mean girls still exist. At Brooklyn's school that title belongs to Sasha Evans. She has been the girl that shows up followed by trouble at it's least expected. After awhile they don't know what else to expect. Trying to live the most of your middle school year is a pain when you are someone else's piece in their fun. Brooklyn meets old friends and new people which can bring struggles. She would have never thought being a middle scholar could be so hard. She now knows she has thought wrong. Update: I write this a while ago and I wish I would've put more thought into it. *sigh*
