I hugged him closer. "I... I don't like this... I can feel things... I don't like this..." I muttered, scared. "But you can feel happiness now, can you not?" he asked. I hated him for this, but he was right. Despite the bad emotions, I could feel a bit warm and fuzzy. Happy. I loosened the grip on his arm. "Well... yeah. I guess you're right. It does feel a bit sweet."
Hisa Takashi was bullied at 6, for being a late bloomer for her quirk. Now 15 years old, she has had as many accomplishments as she ever imagined. Thanks to her quirk, however, she's unable to taste her sweet victory... and unable to taste the sweetness of love.
