Brianna Maria Parker, goes by Bri, is 16 years old and an upcoming junior at an all girls' private school. She's pretty but nothing really special. She drives a 2013 silver Ford Fusion and lives in the suburb of North Royalton, about 10 minutes from Cleveland, Ohio. She's never had a boyfriend and wasn't really interested in getting one any time soon. The popular bad boy type annoys her. Her best friend, Alicia, practically lives at her house. Her prized possession is her iPhone 4s and her little white puppy Lexi.

Everett Markus Tanner, goes by Markie is almost 17 years old. He's new to North Royalton and will be starting an all boy's school, as a junior in the fall. He drives a black on black Audi R8. He's absolutely gorgeous and is your typical player. He's been with more girls than you can count and know one really knows why he's going to an all boys high school. His family is very wealthy. He is your stereotypical bad boy. He's athletic. He plays baseball, basketball, soccer, football, and rugby. His new best friend, Dean could be an Abercrombie & Fitch model. Markie's prized possession is his car. He is everything Brianna wants to avoid.
