The Sweetest Thing

At the age of 24, Promise Jones had it all. A nice condo, her dream job, and a successful fiance. After he cheats on her, Promise moves in with her best friend Jamila until she is able to stand on her own two feet. After everything Promise has been through, she decideds it's time for a night on the town with her girl so she can enjoy herself. At a poetry reading in the art gallery she meets Savon Washington, a determined artist hoping to gain exposure. The two hit it off, and though Promise and Savon are reluctant of their feelings, they can't deny the obvious connection. They claim to just be "kicking it" but eventually their relationship develops into much more than either of them can handle.
