Erin Nightingale has always been a loner in her small hometown. With her violet eyes and her strange power to manipulate the element: Spirit, and because of that luck has never seemed to go her way. An institution known to the world as Luminescence recruits Erin because of her gift and she accepts. After being sent to Luminescence, Erin is placed with five other people to help her with her training and so she could have a fresh start. Learning to hone her abilities with the other elemental gifted teens, Erin discovers just how strong her manipulation of Spirit really is-and the joy of having true friends.
