She can't communicate as easily as other kids her age and has difficulty expressing her emotions in an appropriate way which causes violent outbursts. Since her parents can't afford to keep caring for her and her special needs, they turn to a place called Forest Haven for help. Forest Haven is a facility for mentally challenged people that seems to have everything Kristie's parents are looking for care wise for their daughter, when she's admitted however, the dark truth comes out about this place and the treatment of its patients.
