Kristie Edwards is a nine year old girl who has been diagnosed with  mild to moderate Autism in the year 1957. She can't communicate as easily as other kids her age and has difficulty expressing her emotions in an appropriate way which causes violent outbursts. Since her parents can't afford to keep caring for her and her special needs, they turn to a place called Forest Haven for help. Forest Haven is a facility for mentally challenged people that seems to have everything Kristie's parents are looking for care wise for their daughter, when she's admitted however, the dark truth comes out about this place and the treatment of its patients. Follow the journey this young girl goes through as she faces horrors no one could imagine in this hellish warehouse for people.
