Kentrell Gaulden never had it easy. Growing up in Baton Rouge, Lousiana, he had to do what he needed to do to survive. Selling drugs and being in the street is all he knew. Tired of living the lifestyle of a thug, his friends and family tell him to pursue his talent in rapping and to get out of the drug game for good. Kentrell takes their opinions into consideration but he also takes it with a grain of salt. He tried to focus on the music but he was stuck, being more focused on the quick money.

Kentrell stared at the older women as if she had hung the moon and painted the stars across the dark sky. Amani was everything to him, but in such a quick accident, Kentrell soon feels his everything becoming but a distant memory - a...dream, some may call it.
