This is a story that my little brother made and I'm typing it up for him in wattpad.

I was surrounded by those things that killed my friends. No one knew what the creatures looked like because they never lived to tell their story. The only chance at survival was getting as far away as possible. To create a new life with anyone who survived.
I can tell if I die... the world might not make it another day. Let alone, live.
You might be thinking, 'What makes you so sure that the world will end when you die?'
Well I don't know. But I'm sure that I will be the last human to Rome the Earth.

Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN )
(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. A Different Virus - Laura's Story
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? It was dark and I was all alone I couldn't see anything, not even my hands in front of me. I felt all sick like I had a cold. " Where am I ? " I asked. " Your in your my mind ? " a voice replied. " We are telepathically linked now, you can't run from me anymore, " replied the person " Just stop messing with me and tell me who you are and where am I, " I Sid. I started to get really eritated. And what did the person mean by you can't run from me anymore. Who was it that I was running from. Then I started to get a little dizzy and my through started to burn. Then all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I woke up. I was in a white room with like 1,000,000 bright light on me. It hurt a lot. my favorite work i posted on wattpad in 2015.. and i actually had some people read it so i decided to keep it on here. i finished the story, and i don't plan on making any sequels, but please enjoy it anyways! . . . . "Ever have one of those days where your whole world flips upside down?" I ask him, trying to explain without sounding crazy. "Yeah why?" this time he does shrug. Now she's staying with her best friend Clare, who promised to help figure out what happened, and why she hasn't aged in seventeen years, or where she's been all that time. with trying to keep the secrete of who she is, and navigating the random clues, Kaison begins to discover just who she really is.Complete
